Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable couple to become integral members of our team. One individual will assist with reservations, running the store and laundromat, guest services, housekeeping, and cabin turnovers, including some cleaning of bathrooms and showers. The other will help with groundskeeping and maintenance, and also assist with special events. Together, you’ll help maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure the smooth operation of our campground.
Responsibilities:
- Guest Services & Housekeeping:
Greet and assist guests with reservations, check-ins, and inquiries. Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the main office, laundromat, and store. Perform light cleaning duties in designated areas, including cleaning bathrooms and showers. Coordinate cabin turnovers and ensure cleanliness and guest comfort. Handle administrative tasks, including record-keeping and customer interactions. Assist with campground special events and activities. - Groundskeeping & Maintenance:
Maintain the campground’s appearance through lawn care, trimming, and landscaping. Perform routine maintenance tasks for facilities, testing of electric pedestals (to help customers troubleshoot issues) along with plumbing connections, and basic equipment.
Assist with campground security and inspections.
Engage in light construction, painting, and special projects as needed.
Requirements:
Ability to lift 20 lbs. or more as part of maintenance tasks. Comfortable with kneeling and bending for short periods of time. Commitment to teamwork and maintaining a high level of service. Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules, including weekends and holidays.
